Terms & Conditions: Your True Taste Confinement Journey

We are dedicated to providing you with the highest standard of nourishing and delicious confinement meals, meticulously prepared to support your holistic recovery journey at home. To ensure a seamless and harmonious experience for all our cherished mothers, please take a moment to review our Terms and Conditions. By placing an order with True Taste, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms, which are designed to protect both you and our commitment to unparalleled service.

1. Service Description

True Taste provides pre-ordered, freshly prepared postnatal confinement meal packages, delivered to your specified address within Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley. Our meals are crafted in accordance with traditional Chinese confinement practices, integrating modern nutritional science, and reflecting the same quality and care synonymous with Zinnia Fields Postnatal Retreat.

2. Order Placement and Confirmation

2.1. Minimum Lead Time: To ensure the meticulous preparation and timely delivery of your bespoke confinement meals, all new orders for meal packages require a minimum lead time of 3 business days prior to your desired start date. We regret that we cannot guarantee the fulfillment of orders placed outside this stipulated lead time.

2.2. Order Accuracy: It is your sole responsibility to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all order details, including but not limited to, the selected package, start date, delivery address, contact information, and any specific dietary preferences or allergies, at the time of order placement. True Taste shall not be liable for any errors or omissions in your order details.

2.3. Order Confirmation: All orders are subject to acceptance and confirmation by True Taste. An order is deemed confirmed only upon receipt of full payment and a confirmation notification from True Taste.

3. Payment Terms

3.1. Full Payment Required: Full payment for your selected meal package is required upon order confirmation. Your order will not be processed, and services will not commence, until full payment has been successfully received by True Taste.

3.2. Payment Methods: For the time being, we only accept payments via online bank transfer.

3.3. Non-Payment: In the event that payment is not received by the stipulated due date, True Taste reserves the right to suspend or cancel your order without prior notice. No refunds will be issued for services not rendered due to non-payment.

4. Order Modifications, Cancellations, and Refunds

4.1. Modification Requests: We understand that circumstances may change. Requests for modifications to your meal package (e.g., change of start date, package duration, or specific meal preferences) must be submitted in writing via email at least 5 business days prior to the intended change request. All modifications are subject to True Taste’s discretion, operational capacity, and ingredient availability.

4.2. Limits on Modifications: To maintain the efficiency and quality of our service, True Taste reserves the right to limit the number of modification requests per package. Excessive or last-minute changes may incur an administrative fee or may not be accommodated.

4.3. Cancellations:

  • Cancellations made 10 business days or more prior to the scheduled start date of your package will be eligible for a full refund, less an administration fee of RM300.
  • Cancellations made between 5 and 9 business days prior to the scheduled start date will be eligible for a 50% refund of the total amount paid, less an administrative fee of RM300.
  • Cancellations made less than 5 business days prior to the scheduled start date, or after the commencement of the service, are non-refundable.

4.4. Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be processed within 15 business days to the original payment method.

5. Delivery Policy

5.1. Accurate Delivery Information: You are solely responsible for providing accurate, complete, and accessible delivery address details, including any specific instructions (e.g., gate codes, unit numbers, contact person) and a valid contact number. True Taste shall not be liable for any failed deliveries, delays, or incorrect deliveries resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or inaccessible information provided by you.

5.2. Recipient Availability: It is your responsibility to ensure that a recipient is available at the specified delivery address during the agreed-upon delivery windows. Our delivery personnel will attempt to contact you or the designated recipient upon arrival.

5.3. Failed Deliveries: In the event of a failed delivery due to inaccurate information, recipient unavailability, or any other reason attributable to the customer, True Taste reserves the right to:

  • Charge a re-delivery fee for subsequent attempts.
  • Consider the meal delivered and no refund will be issued for the missed delivery.
  • True Taste is not responsible for the freshness or quality of meals that could not be delivered or were delayed due to customer-related issues.

5.4. Delivery Schedule: While we strive for punctuality, delivery times are estimates and may be subject to minor variations due to unforeseen circumstances such as traffic, weather conditions, or operational delays. True Taste will endeavour to inform you of any significant delays.

6. Customer Responsibilities for Meal Consumption

6.1. Immediate Consumption or Proper Storage: Upon receipt, meals should be consumed immediately or stored properly according to the instructions provided (e.g., refrigeration at 0-4°C).

6.2. Reheating Instructions: Any reheating should be done strictly according to the instructions provided with your meals.

6.3. Disclaimer of Liability for Improper Handling: True Taste prides itself on delivering freshly prepared, high-quality meals. However, we explicitly disclaim all liability for any loss, damage, health complications, allergic reactions, or quality degradation arising from:

  • Improper handling, storage, or consumption of meals after delivery.
  • Consumption of meals beyond the recommended consumption time.
  • Failure to adhere to our storage and reheating instructions.
  • Any pre-existing medical conditions or allergies not explicitly communicated and acknowledged by True Taste prior to meal preparation.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1. General Disclaimer: To the fullest extent permitted by law, True Taste, as an extension of Zinnia Fields Postnatal Retreat, shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or in connection with your use of our services or the consumption of our meals.

7.2. Customer Act or Negligence: True Taste shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, injury, adverse health effects, or any other claim arising directly or indirectly from any act, omission, negligence, or misuse of our services on the part of the customer, including but not limited to:

  • Failure to provide accurate information.
  • Failure to be available for delivery.
  • Failure to follow meal handling, storage, or consumption instructions.
  • Any actions or inactions that compromise the quality or safety of the delivered meals after they have been received.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the True Taste website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and meal descriptions, is the property of Jefame Group Sdn. Bhd. and is protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

10. Amendments to Terms

True Taste reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.
